If you're driving from nearby towns in the Blue Ridge Mountains, take US-221 N towards Spruce Pine. Follow US-221 N for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with NC-226. Turn left onto NC-226 S, and continue for about 2 miles. Look for Parkway Maintenance Road on your right. The Museum of North Carolina Minerals will be located at 214 Parkway Maintenance Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777. There is free parking available at the museum.
