Car
From anywhere on Kiawah Island, head to the main exit towards US-17. Follow signs to the main highway (US-17 N). Once on US-17, continue for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for SC-174 towards Edisto Island. Continue on SC-174 for about 10 miles until you reach Botany Bay Road. Turn left onto Botany Bay Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles until you reach the entrance to Botany Bay Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area. There is no entrance fee to access the preserve.
