Once you arrive at the Charlotte Transportation Center, transfer to the light rail. Take the Lynx Blue Line towards I-485/South Blvd. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Stonewall Station. From there, walk north on S Tryon St for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture at 551 S Tryon St.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations around Rock Hill. Head northwest on Main St towards S Anderson Rd. Follow S Anderson Rd until you reach the Catawba River. Cross the river using the bridge and continue on the bike path along the river until you reach the intersection with S Tryon St in Charlotte. Turn left onto S Tryon St and ride for about 10 minutes until you arrive at 551 S Tryon St, where the Harvey B. Gantt Center is located.

Walk for another 15-20 minutes until you reach 551 S Tryon St where the Harvey B. Gantt Center is located.
