From the center of Summerville, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street. Take the CARTA bus route 10 towards Charleston. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at Meeting St & Calhoun St. From there, transfer to route 20 towards the 'North Charleston' direction. Get off at the stop at Rutledge Ave & Calhoun St. Walk east on Calhoun St for about 0.3 miles until you reach Rutledge Ave, then turn left. The Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue will be on your right at 182 Rutledge Ave.

If you have access to a bicycle, exit Summerville heading south on Main St towards US-78. Follow US-78 until you reach the intersection with I-26. Merge onto I-26 heading towards Charleston. After approximately 15 miles, take exit 219B for US-17 toward the Ravenel Bridge. Continue on US-17 and take the exit toward Calhoun St. Turn left onto Calhoun St, then right onto Rutledge Ave. The synagogue will be located on your left at 182 Rutledge Ave.
