Turn left on SD-34 W and continue for about 32 miles until you reach the intersection with SD-47 N. Turn right onto SD-47 N and follow the signs for US-83 N. After about 70 miles, take US-83 N until you reach the junction with ND-34 W. Continue on ND-34 W for about 30 miles, and then turn left onto 88th St SE. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and you will find Welk Homestead State Historic Site on your right. Make sure to check the site hours before your visit as they vary.
