Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Gapyeong-gun. From central Gwangdong Region, take the Gyeonggi Expressway (Route 1) towards Gapyeong. Continue on Route 1 until you see signs for Gapyeong. Once in Gapyeong, follow the signs for the Garden of Morning Calm. The garden is located at 432 Sumogwon-ro, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Upon arrival, there is a parking fee of approximately 5,000 KRW.

Public Transportation
To reach the Garden of Morning Calm via public transportation, first make your way to the Cheongnyangni Station in Seoul. From there, take the ITX train towards Gapyeong Station. The train ride takes about an hour. Once you arrive at Gapyeong Station, exit the station and look for bus number 31 or 32 which will take you directly to the Garden of Morning Calm. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Be prepared to pay a bus fare of approximately 2,000 KRW. The garden is located at 432 Sumogwon-ro, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
