  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, enter the address '28 Toegye-ro 34-gil, Jung District, Seoul' into your GPS. From Gwandong Region, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) heading towards Seoul. Follow the signs for 'Seoul' and merge onto the Inner Ring Road (Seoul Beltway). Continue until you reach the Jung District. Once you are in the city, use local street maps to navigate to the address. Be aware of potential tolls on the expressway, which can cost around KRW 3,000 to KRW 5,000 depending on your entry point.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    To reach Namsangol Hanok Village via public transportation, start by finding the nearest train station in Gwandong Region. Take a train to Seoul Station, which is on the KTX or regular train lines. Upon arrival at Seoul Station, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) of the Seoul Metro. Ride the train towards Danggogae Station and get off at Myeongdong Station (4 stops). From Myeongdong Station, take Exit 3 and walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach the village. The total cost for the train ride is approximately KRW 5,000 to KRW 10,000.

    If you prefer to take a bus, first locate a bus terminal in the Gwandong Region. Take an intercity bus to Dongseoul Bus Terminal in Seoul. Once you arrive at Dongseoul, exit the terminal and find the nearest subway station. Board Line 2 (the green line) towards City Hall, then transfer to Line 4 at the City Hall Station going towards Danggogae Station. Get off at Myeongdong Station (3 stops). From there, take Exit 3 and walk straight for approximately 10 minutes to Namsangol Hanok Village. The bus fare will be around KRW 10,000 to KRW 15,000.
