Public Transportation (Train)
For those traveling by public transportation, start by taking a KTX train from Gwangju or Mokpo stations to Seoul Station. The KTX ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Seoul Station, transfer to Line 1 (the blue line) and travel to Jongno 3-ga Station. From there, switch to Line 5 (the purple line) and get off at Gyongbokgung Station. Use Exit 2 and walk towards the village, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
