Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Jirisan National Park, located at the Sangbong-dong area. Head south on Route 19 and continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Jinju. Take a left onto Route 3 and follow the signs for Jinju-si. After about 20 kilometers, you will enter Jinju. Continue straight until you see signs for Bonseong-dong, where Jinjuseong is located. Parking is available near the site, but there may be a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Jirisan National Park to Jinju. Buses run frequently from the park to Jinju Bus Terminal, and the fare is approximately 4,000 KRW. Upon arriving at Jinju Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Bonseong-dong. The fare for the local bus is around 1,200 KRW. Get off at the Bonseong-dong stop, and Jinjuseong will be a short walk from there. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance to plan your return trip.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Jirisan National Park. This option provides more convenience and saves time, especially if you are traveling in a group. The taxi ride to Jinjuseong from the park will take approximately 40 minutes and cost around 30,000 to 40,000 KRW depending on traffic.
