Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the Canary Islands, you will first need to take a flight to Madrid. After arriving at Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, rent a car or use a taxi to reach CaixaForum Madrid. The address is P.º del Prado, 36, Centro, 28014 Madrid. From the airport, take the M-12 to the M-14, then merge onto the A-2 towards Madrid. Follow signs to the city center. • Public Transportation

  Upon arriving at Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, take Line 8 (the pink line) of the Metro to Nuevos Ministerios station. Transfer to Line 10 (the dark blue line) and travel to Tribunal station. From there, transfer to Line 1 (the light blue line) and ride to the Atocha station. Once at Atocha, you can walk to CaixaForum Madrid which is about a 10-minute walk. Exit the station and head southeast on Paseo del Prado towards CaixaForum, which is located at P.º del Prado, 36, Centro, 28014 Madrid. Be aware that a single metro ticket from the airport costs approximately €5.

  From Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, you can take a taxi directly to CaixaForum Madrid. This is the most convenient option if you have luggage. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around €30-€40.

• Bus

  Alternatively, from the airport, you can take the bus line Exprés Aeropuerto which goes to Atocha. The bus runs frequently and costs about €5. It will take roughly 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Atocha, walk 10 minutes to P.º del Prado, 36, Centro, 28014 Madrid to reach CaixaForum.
