From the main entrance of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head west on the Dambulla-Sigiriya Road. Follow the road for approximately 13 kilometers until you reach the Kandy - Jaffna Hwy. The Dambulla Royal Cave Temple and Golden Temple will be on your left-hand side. It should take you around 2.5 to 3 hours to walk there.
