Getting There

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Krabi town. From there, follow Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Ao Nang. After approximately 15 kilometers, take a left onto Route 4203 towards Ao Nang Beach. Continue driving until you reach Ao Nang Beach. From the beach, you will need to hire a long-tail boat to take you directly to Monkey Beach. The boat ride costs about 150-300 THB per person, depending on the number of passengers.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Monkey Beach via public transportation, take a local bus from Krabi town to Ao Nang. The bus departs regularly from the bus station and costs around 60 THB. Once you arrive in Ao Nang, head to the beach area where you can find long-tail boats waiting. You can negotiate the fare with the boat operators; expect to pay between 150-300 THB per person for the ride to Monkey Beach.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Krabi. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Ao Nang Beach. The cost for a taxi ride will vary but expect to pay around 800-1000 THB. Once at Ao Nang Beach, you will still need to take a long-tail boat to Monkey Beach, which will cost an additional 150-300 THB per person.
