Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading towards Yaowarat Road. From Rattanakosin, take the main roads leading to the Chakkrawat area. Use a navigation app to guide you to 189, 385 Soi Yaowarat 11, Chakkrawat, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100. There is limited parking available, so be sure to look for nearby parking facilities or street parking.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Rattanakosin. Take bus number 15, 25, or 53 towards Samphanthawong. Get off at the 'Yaowarat' bus stop. From there, walk towards Soi Yaowarat 11, where the Chao Por Ma and Guan Yu Shrine is located at 189, 385 Soi Yaowarat 11. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.

• Public Transportation - MRT

  You can also take the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). Find the nearest MRT station, and take the train to Hua Lamphong Station. From Hua Lamphong, you can take a taxi or a tuk-tuk to the shrine, which is about a 10-minute drive. Alternatively, you can walk from Hua Lamphong Station to the shrine, which takes around 25 minutes.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Rattanakosin. Simply provide the driver with the address: 189, 385 Soi Yaowarat 11, Chakkrawat, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100. This is the most convenient option, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group. Expect a fare of around 100-150 THB depending on traffic.
