Getting There

Car
If you are driving from St. George Central, head southwest on the Southern Main Road (Route 2) towards San Fernando. After approximately 5 km, take the exit onto the Uriah Butler Highway (Route 3) towards Chaguanas. Continue on the highway for about 10 km until you reach the exit for the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. Take this exit and follow the signs towards the North Coast (Route 1). Continue on this route for approximately 12 km, and keep an eye out for Fond Pois Doux Road on your right. Turn onto Fond Pois Doux Road and follow it for about 3 km until you reach the La Vigie Paramin Lookout. There is no entry fee for visiting the lookout.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach La Vigie Paramin Lookout via public transportation, start by taking a bus from St. George Central to Port of Spain. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately TT$5. Once in Port of Spain, transfer to a bus heading to Maraval or Paramin. These buses leave from the main bus terminal. The fare for this leg is around TT$7. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Fond Pois Doux Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 km uphill to reach the lookout. Be prepared for a steep incline. The lookout is free to access.
