From the Asa Wright Nature Centre, exit the main building and head towards the nature trails. Follow the signage for the trails leading out of the centre. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction where the trail splits. Take the left path and continue walking for another 20 minutes. You will notice a slight incline leading towards Water K Ridge. Keep an eye out for trail markers indicating the route. The total walking distance from the Asa Wright Nature Centre to Water K Ridge is about 1.5 kilometers.
Driving

If you have access to a car, exit the Asa Wright Nature Centre and turn left onto the main road, following the signs towards Caura. After about 5 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road; bear right at the fork onto the Caura River Road. Continue for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a small parking area on the left side of the road, which is near the entrance to Water K Ridge. Make sure to park safely and be aware of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation

To reach Water K Ridge using public transportation, take a taxi or a local bus from Asa Wright Nature Centre to the nearest bus terminal in Caura. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, look for a bus heading towards Caura Village. The fare is typically around $5 TTD. After getting off at Caura Village, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along Caura River Road to reach Water K Ridge. It’s advisable to ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the appropriate stop.
