Public Transport (Metro)
If you are near Taksim Square, take the M2 Metro line from Taksim station towards Yenikapı. Get off at the Yenikapı station. From there, transfer to the M1A line towards Atatürk Airport. Get off at the Aksaray station, and then catch the Tram T1 towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Cibali stop. From Cibali, walk northeast on Hasköy Caddesi for about 10 minutes until you reach Ayvansaray. The Palace of the Porphyrogenitus will be on your right.

If you are in the Sultanahmet area, walk to the Kabataş tram station. Take the T1 Tram towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Cibali stop. From Cibali, walk northeast on Hasköy Caddesi for about 10 minutes until you reach Ayvansaray. The Palace of the Porphyrogenitus will be on your right.

If you are staying in the neighborhood around Ayvansaray, simply navigate towards the waterfront along the Golden Horn. Walk along the shore, and you will see signs directing you to the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus. It is a short walk from the waterfront, and the views along the way are quite beautiful.

If you are near the Eminönü area, catch a bus from Eminönü bus terminal. Look for bus numbers 28, 28B, or 33, which head towards Ayvansaray. Get off at the Ayvansaray stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus, which is located nearby.
