If you are in the Sultanahmet area, start by walking to the Sultanahmet Tram Station. Take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. Get off at the Karaköy stop. From Karaköy, walk uphill towards Galata Tower. Once you reach the tower, continue straight onto Bereketzade Mahallesi, then turn left onto Karakurum Street. The Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Church will be on your left at No:20.

If you are near Taksim Square, exit the square and head down Istiklal Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the end of the avenue, passing by various shops and cafes. As you reach the end, turn left onto the first street which is Karakurum Street. Walk along this street, and you will find the Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Church on your right at No:20.

From the Eminönü area, take bus number 28 to Beyoğlu. After a short ride, get off at the Tophane stop. From there, walk towards the Tophane fountain, then head uphill on the first street to your left, which is Karakurum Street. The church will be at No:20 on your left.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from your current location. Simply tell the driver 'Karakurum Sokak, 20, Beyoğlu' and they will take you directly to the Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Church. Make sure to check that the driver uses the meter.
