Getting There

• Car

  From Acholi, head south on the main road towards Gulu. Continue driving for about 2 hours until you reach the junction for the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway. Turn left onto the expressway and follow the signs for Entebbe. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for Entebbe. Once in Entebbe, follow the signs towards Manyago. The beach is located at the address 3F9J+WH4, Entebbe. Look for parking options near the beach entrance.

• Public Transport

  From Acholi, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Kampala. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching Kampala, transfer to a taxi or a minibus heading to Entebbe. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Entebbe, ask the conductor to drop you off near Manyago. From there, you can walk to Entebbe beach at 3F9J+WH4. Be prepared to pay for your bus fare, which typically costs around 20,000 UGX for the first leg to Kampala and about 10,000 UGX for the second leg to Entebbe.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Acholi can be a great way to reach Entebbe. Start by heading south on the main road, following the same route as cars. It’s a long ride, approximately 80 km, so plan for a full day. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks along the way. Once you reach Entebbe, navigate towards Manyago to find the beach located at 3F9J+WH4. Be cautious of traffic and road conditions.
