Getting There

    If you are driving from Kapchorwa, take the Kapchorwa-Sipi Road (also known as the Sipi Road) heading towards Sipi. The journey is approximately 25 kilometers and takes about 30-40 minutes. The road is generally in good condition, but be cautious of potholes and livestock on the road. Upon arrival in Sipi, you will see signs for Sipi Falls Tours which is located near the falls.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    From Kapchorwa, you can take a shared taxi (known as a matatu) to Sipi. The matatus leave from the main taxi park in Kapchorwa and head towards Sipi. The fare is approximately UGX 2,000-3,000 (around $0.50 - $1). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Sipi, ask the driver to drop you off near the falls; Sipi Falls Tours is in close proximity to the drop-off point.
