Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Kyiv Reservoir, head south on Kyivska Street until you reach the intersection with Peremohy Avenue. Take a left onto Peremohy Avenue and continue straight until you reach Lybidska Street. Turn right onto Lybidska Street, which will turn into Hretska Street. Follow Hretska Street until it merges into Volodymyrs'kyi descent. The Volodymyr The Great Monument will be on your right at Volodymyrs'kyi descent, 6. Look for parking on the street or nearby public parking lots, which may have fees of around 20 UAH per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Kyiv Reservoir, you can take bus number 45 from the central bus station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Volodymyrs'kyi descent' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk up Volodymyrs'kyi descent for about 5 minutes, and you will see the monument on your left. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, which is around 8 UAH.

• Public Transportation - Metro

  If you prefer the metro, take the metro from the nearest station in Kyiv Reservoir to the 'Vokzalna' station. Change to the 'Tsentralna' line and head towards 'Polytech' station. Once you arrive at 'Polytech', exit and head south on Volodymyrs'kyi descent. The monument will be approximately a 15-minute walk downhill. The metro fare is approximately 8 UAH, so make sure to have cash or a metro card.
