Start at Bath Abbey, located in the heart of Bath. Head southeast on Abbey Church Yard towards Bath Street. Continue straight onto Union Street, then turn left onto Westgate Street. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the A367. Cross over to the other side where you will find the bus stop for the number 39 bus to Wells. Take the bus towards Wells and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at Wells bus station, exit and head towards the city center. Walk straight along the High Street, and then turn left onto Cathedral Green. You will find Penniless Porch at The Bishop's Palace, 9 Cathedral Green, Wells BA5 2RE, which is a short walk from the Cathedral.
