Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the center of Cambridge Fens, head southwest on the A1307 road. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the A14 interchange. Merge onto the A14 towards Huntingdon. After approximately 5 miles, take exit 23 for the A141 toward Huntingdon. Follow the signs for Huntingdon and exit onto the B1514. Continue straight until you reach Mill St in Houghton. The National Trust - Houghton Mill & Waterclose Meadows will be on your left. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a small fee.

To reach National Trust - Houghton Mill & Waterclose Meadows using public transportation, start by taking a train from Cambridge Station to Huntingdon Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. From Huntingdon Station, you can take a local bus (Bus number 46 or 47) towards Houghton. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Get off at the Houghton stop, which is a short walk to Mill St. Follow Mill St, and you will find the entrance to Houghton Mill & Waterclose Meadows. Please note there may be a small fee for the bus.
