    From central Gloucestershire, take the A40 road towards the west. Follow the A40 until you reach the junction for the A436 towards Stow-on-the-Wold. Continue on the A436 until you reach the village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which is a popular entry point into the Cotswolds AONB. Parking is available in the village, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of approximately £2-£5 for a few hours.

    If you're using public transportation, take a train from Gloucester station to Moreton-in-Marsh, which is a direct route and takes about 30 minutes. From Moreton-in-Marsh, you can catch a local bus (the 801 service) that goes to Bourton-on-the-Water. Make sure to check the bus timetable as services may be limited on weekends.
