Car
From Kinross, head south on the M90 motorway. Continue on the M90 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction for the A720 (city bypass). Take the exit onto the A720 heading towards Edinburgh. After about 5 miles, take the exit for the A7 and follow signs for the city center. Continue on the A7 until you reach the A701. Follow the A701 and then turn onto the Braid Road. The Hermitage of Braid will be on your left. There is parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Kinross, take a bus to Edinburgh. You can catch a Stagecoach bus from the Kinross bus station that goes directly to Edinburgh. Once you arrive at Edinburgh Bus Station, transfer to the Lothian Bus service. Take bus number 11 or 15 towards 'Morningside'. Get off at the 'Braid Road' stop. From there, walk along Braid Road until you reach the Hermitage of Braid. It should take around 10 minutes on foot.
