Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Edinburgh city center. You can enter the city via the A1 or A720, depending on your starting point. Follow signs for the city center and look for the A7. Once in the city, use the A6004 to reach Greyfriars Place. There is limited street parking nearby, and you may need to pay for parking, which typically costs around £2-£3 per hour.

• Bus

  To reach Greyfriars Kirk by public transport, take a bus from various locations in Midlothian. Bus services like Lothian Buses connect to the city center. Look for buses that head towards the city center and get off at the 'South Bridge' or 'Chambers Street' stops. From there, it's a short walk to Greyfriars Kirk, which is located at Greyfriars Place, Edinburgh EH1 2QQ. Bus fares generally range from £1.70 to £2.50 depending on the distance.
