Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards London. From Sussex, you can take the A23 towards London. Continue on the A23 until you reach the junction with the A202. Follow signs for Westminster and the A202. After approximately 30 miles, you will arrive in central London. The Equestrian statue of Edward VII is located in Waterloo Place, which is just off the A3212 (Regent Street). There is limited street parking in the area, so be prepared to find a public car park nearby. Expect parking fees to range from £2 to £4 per hour.

• Train

  For those taking public transport, you can catch a train from major stations in Sussex such as Brighton or Eastbourne to London Victoria. The journey takes approximately one hour. Once you arrive at London Victoria, exit the station and walk towards Wilton Road. Take a left on Wilton Road, then a right onto Buckingham Palace Road. Continue straight until you reach the A3212 (Regent Street), then turn left. Waterloo Place will be on your left. The statue is a short walk from the station.

• Bus

  If you prefer traveling by bus, you can take a National Express bus from various locations in Sussex directly to Victoria Coach Station in London. From Victoria Coach Station, head to the nearby Victoria Station to connect to the underground. Take the Circle or District Line to Westminster Station. From Westminster Station, walk towards the A3212 (Regent Street), then turn right onto Waterloo Place. The statue will be on your left. Be prepared for the bus fare to be around £10 to £15 one way.
