If you're driving from Brighton, take the A23 north towards Crawley. Merge onto the M23 motorway towards London. After about 20 miles, take the exit onto the M25 towards Watford. After approximately 6 miles, exit onto the M1 towards Luton. Continue for about 15 miles and take the exit 6 towards St Albans. Follow the signs for St Albans and merge onto the A1081. Continue on this road, which will take you into St Albans. Turn left onto Bluehouse Hill, and the Roman Theatre of Verulamium will be on your right.
