Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards South Queensferry. From the M8 motorway, take the M9 exit at Junction 1 towards Edinburgh. Merge onto the M9 and continue until you reach Junction 1A for the M90. Follow signs for Forth Road Bridge (A90). Once on the A90, take the exit towards South Queensferry. Continue on the A904 then turn onto Shore Road. The marina will be on your left. Parking is available at the marina, but fees may apply.

  To reach Port Edgar Marina by train, take a train from any station in West Lothian (e.g., Livingston North, Bathgate) to South Queensferry. The nearest train station to Port Edgar Marina is South Queensferry Station. From the station, it is about a 20-minute walk to the marina, or you can catch a local bus (Lothian Buses service 43 or 40) that will take you closer to the marina. Check the local timetable for bus fares, which typically range from £1.60 to £2.50.

  You can also take a direct bus to South Queensferry from various locations in West Lothian. Services from Livingston and other towns are available, operated by Lothian Buses. Upon arriving in South Queensferry, disembark at the bus stop on High Street. From there, it’s a short walk down to Shore Road where Port Edgar Marina is located. Bus fares range from £1.60 to £2.50 depending on your starting point.
