Getting There

  • Train

    From Windsor & Eton Central train station, take the South Western Railway service towards London Waterloo. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at London Waterloo, follow the signs to exit the station.

  • Walking

    After exiting London Waterloo station, head towards the nearby Waterloo Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Strand. Walk along the Strand until you reach the junction with Fleet Street. Turn left onto Fleet Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with Ludgate Hill. Turn right onto Ludgate Hill and follow it until you reach St. Paul's Cathedral. From there, head towards the Thames River, and continue towards the Tower of London, which is located on Tower Hill.

  • Underground (Tube)

    From Windsor & Eton Central, take the train to London Waterloo as described above. Once at Waterloo, take the Jubilee Line (grey line) towards Stratford. Change at London Bridge station and switch to the Northern Line (black line) towards Bank. At Bank, change to the Central Line (red line) towards Liverpool Street, and get off at Tower Hill station. Exit the station, and you will find the Tower of London directly in front of you.

  • Bus

    From Windsor, you can also take a bus to London. Use the 702 National Express service from Windsor to Victoria Coach Station. From Victoria, walk to the nearby Victoria Underground Station and take the District Line (green line) towards Tower Hill. Exit at Tower Hill, and the Tower of London will be a short walk away.
