Getting There

  • Walking

    From the entrance of the Apostolic Palace, head south on Via della Conciliazione towards St. Peter's Square. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters, and you will reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, walk straight on Lungotevere Castello until you reach the intersection with Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Turn left onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. Borgo Angelico will be on your right side, just a short distance past the intersection with Via dei Corridori.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the nearest bus stop to the Apostolic Palace, which is located on Via della Conciliazione. Take the bus number 40 or 64 towards Termini Station. After a 10-minute ride, get off at the Termini bus stop. From there, transfer to Metro Line A and take the train towards Battistini. Get off at the Ottaviano-San Pietro station. Exit the station and walk south along Via Ottaviano until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters, and Borgo Angelico will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one nearby. Start from the Apostolic Palace and head towards St. Peter's Square. From there, cycle along the path that runs adjacent to the Tiber River on your right. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge and continue cycling on Lungotevere Castello. Turn left onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano and proceed for another kilometer. Borgo Angelico will be on your right as you approach the intersection with Via dei Corridori.
