Getting There

  • Walking

    To get from the Gregorian Etruscan Museum to the Quirinal Obelisk, exit the museum and turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica. Follow this street until it becomes Via di Monte del Gallo. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River, then turn right onto the embankment. Follow the riverbank until you come to the bridge known as Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Via di Ripetta. After a few blocks, turn left onto Via del Tritone. Continue straight until you reach P.za del Quirinale where the Quirinal Obelisk is located.

    To reach the Quirinal Obelisk from the Gregorian Etruscan Museum using public transport, exit the museum and walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Vaticano - Museo' on Viale Vaticano.
