Getting There

Exit St. Peter's Basilica from the main entrance, facing the square (Piazza San Pietro). Once outside, you will see the grand colonnades surrounding the square. Walk straight ahead towards the Via della Conciliazione, which leads to the Tiber River. Upon reaching the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself at the other side of the river. Continue straight until you reach the Piazza Navona. From there, follow signs to the Metro station 'Barberini' or 'Termini'. Take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina and get off at the Termini station. Finally, exit the station and walk about 10 minutes northeast along Via Cavour until you reach Piazza dell'Indipendenza.
