Getting There

    From the Vatican Museums entrance, exit the main building and head towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Turn left onto Viale Vaticano and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing and continue on Viale Vaticano. After approximately 500 meters, you will see a smaller road to your right leading into the green area of the Pincio Hill. Follow this road, which will lead you up to Piazzale delle Canestre, where you can enjoy beautiful views.

    Alternatively, from the Vatican Museums, you can take a more scenic route. After exiting the Museums, head to the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica.
