Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Turn left onto Viale Vaticano and continue walking straight. You will pass by several vendors and shops along the way. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Cross the street and continue straight; you will see St. Peter's Basilica ahead. Keep walking until you reach the end of Viale Vaticano, where it meets Via della Conciliazione. At this point, you will have a clear view of the Basilica. From here, you can either take a left towards Via della Conciliazione or continue walking straight to reach the river.

  • Public Transport

    Exit the Vatican Pinacoteca and head to the Ottaviano metro station, which is around a 10-minute walk from the Vatican Museums. To get there, walk along Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via Ottaviano. Once at the metro station, board Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Travel for 3 stops and get off at the Flaminio station. From there, transfer to tram line 2 towards Piazza Mancini and disembark at the stop 'Piazza Trilussa'. This will bring you directly to your destination.
