Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car in Lamoille County, first make your way to Route 100. From Stowe, head south on Route 100 towards Waterbury. In Waterbury, merge onto I-89 S. Take exit 11 for Richmond. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Bridge Street. Continue straight onto Main Street, which will take you to Route 2. Turn right onto Route 2 and continue for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Round Church Road. The Old Round Church will be on your left at 29 Round Church Rd, Richmond, VT 05477.

• Public Transportation

  For visitors using public transportation, you can take a bus from Stowe or Morrisville to Richmond via Green Mountain Transit. Ensure to check the schedule in advance as services may not be frequent. Once you arrive in Richmond, you can walk to The Old Round Church, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Main Street, then take a left onto Route 2. Follow Route 2 for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Round Church Road. The church will be on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you're an avid cyclist, biking to The Old Round Church can be a scenic adventure. Starting from Stowe, you can take the Stowe Recreation Path heading south, connecting to Route 100. Continue to Route 2 and follow the above directions for cars from that point. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. Note that some stretches may have heavy traffic, so it's advised to plan your ride during off-peak hours.

• Walking

  If you are staying near Richmond and prefer to walk, head towards Main Street from your accommodation. Follow Main Street south, and then take a left onto Route 2. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Round Church Road. Turn left onto Round Church Road, and The Old Round Church will be on your left. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and be cautious while walking along the road.
