Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the center of Da Lat and head southeast on Trần Hưng Đạo Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Đường Trần Thánh Tông (the road leading to Tinh Tam Lake). Turn left onto Đường Trần Thánh Tông and continue until you see the signs for Truc Lam Zen Monastery. It is approximately a 15-minute drive from the center of Da Lat.

• Public Bus

  Take a public bus from Da Lat Central Market. Look for buses heading to 'Thung Lũng Tình Yêu' or 'Truc Lam.' The bus fare is usually around 20,000 VND (less than $1 USD). Get off at the stop closest to Tinh Tam Lake, which should take about 30-40 minutes. From there, it will be a short walk to the monastery.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  You can also opt for a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab to reach Tinh Tam Lake - Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Simply input the destination in the app, and the driver will take you directly there. The fare should range from 50,000 to 100,000 VND (around $2 to $4 USD) depending on your starting location.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, walking to the monastery can be a pleasant experience. From the center of Da Lat, head southeast on Trần Hưng Đạo Street, then turn left onto Đường Trần Thánh Tông. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, providing you with scenic views along the way.
