Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Thị Trấn, Phong NHA, Bố Trạch District. The main road to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is National Route 1A. From Quang Binh Province, take the signs leading to Phong Nha. Once you reach Thị Trấn, you can find parking areas near the entrance to the park.

• Public Bus

  To reach Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park by bus, take a bus from Dong Hoi City (the nearest city) to Phong Nha. Buses run frequently from the Dong Hoi bus station. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, and the bus fare is around 50,000 VND. Once you arrive at the Phong Nha bus station, it is a short taxi ride or a 15-minute walk to the park entrance.

• Taxi or Ride-hailing Services

  If you prefer a more comfortable option after arriving in Phong Nha, you can take a taxi or use ride-hailing apps like Grab. From the bus station or any hotel in Phong Nha, simply enter 'Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park' as your destination. The fare typically ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 VND depending on the distance.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Thị Trấn, Phong NHA. There are several rental shops available. The ride to the park entrance is flat and scenic, taking about 30 minutes. Rental costs approximately 30,000-50,000 VND per hour.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Thị Trấn, it is possible to walk to the park entrance. From the center of Thị Trấn, head towards Phong Nha village, following the signs. The walk is about 2 kilometers and takes around 25-30 minutes at a leisurely pace.
