Start by heading to the nearest bus stop. If you are in downtown Newport News, you can catch the 101 bus towards Yorktown. Board the bus and remain on it until you reach the Yorktown stop. From there, you will have to walk approximately 20 minutes to reach 1000 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy. Exit the bus and head north on Main Street, then turn right onto Ballard Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Colonial National Historical Parkway. Turn left at the intersection, and the destination will be on your right.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Newport News. Head towards the James River and follow the waterfront path that leads toward Yorktown. Continue along the path until you reach the Colonial National Historical Parkway. From there, turn left and bike along the parkway until you reach 1000 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy. It's approximately a 7-mile ride, so enjoy the scenic views along the way!
