    From Sioma Ngwezi National Park, head northeast on the main road (A3) for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Sioma. Here, you can refuel and grab some supplies if needed. Continue on the A3 for about 130 kilometers towards Mongu, passing through the beautiful Zambezi Valley. After Mongu, follow the signs to the A8 road towards Lusaka. Continue for about 200 kilometers until you reach the junction for South Luangwa National Park. Follow the signs, and you'll arrive at the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Sioma Ngwezi National Park, take a taxi or a local shuttle to the nearest bus station in Sioma town. Once there, catch a bus heading to Mongu. After you arrive in Mongu, transfer to a bus heading towards Lusaka. Inform the driver you are going to South Luangwa National Park, and they will drop you off at the junction for the park. From the junction, you may need to hire a taxi or wait for local transport to take you the remaining distance to the park entrance.

    If you prefer not to drive the entire way, you can hire a taxi from Sioma Ngwezi National Park to Mongu. The taxi ride will take about 1.5 hours. In Mongu, you can catch a bus towards Lusaka. After the bus arrives at the junction for South Luangwa National Park, hire a taxi to take you to the park entrance. Ensure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.
