We loved everything about this tour. In 8 hours 4 stops and in two places with a guide. Nice and clean bus, beautiful nature, historical castles and basilica. We also love the guides. They were very positive and interesting!
You can eat or in Vianden castle or buy some snacks before. The only thing that there wasn’t much time to see the village Vianden, we only had time for castle and for lunch. Thank you one more time for this memories!!!

Hiking to waterfall. Two castles. Small old towns. Perfect!
My only complaint (if I have to). There was not enough time in Viaden. They should skip the frost castle and give us more time in Viaden to visit the town. AND more time in Erchenech wohld be great too.

Well organized tour. We could enjoy history and nature in suburban places of Luxembourg. Tour guides are very kind and experienced. So we enjoyed a lot and deeply understood Luxembourg.

The places we visited were interesting, especially the two castles and the small waterfall. The guide to the latter was very good, with lots of interesting information. Vianden castle is well worth the visit...Beaufort castle kinda there to make up the numbers. Echternacht was just a quick visit at the end.
Now I KNOW its constantly advertised that the driver is not a guide, and must not be spoken to when he is driving....but surely to goodness he could say something at each stop----all we got was a scribble about when to be back. Nothing about where to next, how long it would be. And there was really nowhere to eat, unless you did it at Vianden. I see some reviews complaining about the drivers driving----ours was very good, never felt in danger. But given the cost of entry was in total 14 Euros pp, and the guide must have got a few Euros, it was aprofitable day for the company. No issues with the tour bus, but lots of glass, and in the summer I can imagine it would get VERY hot

This is basically transportation to and from the sites. The driver was very nice and did a great job driving. Wish there was more direction on what we were seeing. At the first castle we were able to get a paper guide that we could follow and at the second castle there was an audio guide. At the waterfall Frank meet us and took us to the falls. He was great and a wealth of information. Five * for Frank. At the Abby and Echternach none of us had any idea what we were seeing. Someone was suppose to meet us at this stop but no one was there to greet us. Wish we had had a guide.

If you go into this excursion with the expectation that it will just be transportation (and minimal guiding at Mullerthal and Echternact) you won't be disappointed. The driver did not speak any English but could use Google Translate for basic questions. There is an audio guide available in multiple languages but the information is light and very basic. The sights are beautiful and we were happy to see/experience them.
Like prior reviews, we experienced the bus turning into a greenhouse in the afternoon and becoming unbearably hot in the afternoon. Recommend bringing a packed lunch or snacks to enjoy at Vianden, per other reviews.

Would highly recommend
Beautiful trip. Great scenery. We didn't know when to put the head phones in. It would be nice if he announced it so we didn't have to wear them the whole time.

Had a fantastic day. Joined this tour last minute as the one I booked cancelled on me the day before and very glad I did. Was travelling solo and it was great being a part of a small group for the day. The bus was air conditioned with panoramic views. All stops were just long enough and the two guides were very informative. A big plus was getting dropped right at the entrance to all attractions. Especially Vianden! Vianden was very busy with over 100 people waiting to get in, so hot tip- make your way to the front of the queue as you already have your ticket 😉. I do recommend taking a sandwich and snacks to eat on the bus to maximise your time at each destination.

I only have good things to say about this tour.
Directions to the pick up point were clear, with large signs.
The bus was clean. We were provided with headphones to listen to the audio guide as we travelled. There are 2 guided tours and 2 castles that you visit on your own.
Our driver Didier picked us up on time. He spoke good English and gave us an overview of what to expect in the tour. He was polite and courteous and even stopped at some vista points for pictures!
Our guide Frank took us on a short hike to see a small waterfall. He was very knowledgeable and educated us on how this region was formed. The waterfall in itself was quite underwhelming though!
Betty was our tour guide at Echternach, She was also good at her job, giving us the history of the region and taking us to the key places, however, she seemed a little rushed on account of the time crunch.
Overall, it was a good experience.
Some pointers for future travelers:
Get yourself an audio guide when you visit the castle in Vianden, it would be more informative.
Also, know that there is a chair lift that takes you to the top of the castle and back. I probably would have done this after the tour of the castle, instead of having lunch in town.
