DO NOT book a tour with this company. They did not show up & proceeded to cancel 1 hour and 15 minutes AFTER we were due to board the boat saying the weather was unsafe. Funnily enough we watched multiple other boats depart with their happy customers & also the sun was shining all day so the weather clearly wasn't that bad. I had booked this with them on 16/12/2023 & 3 months later there was no communication just a complete no show. I would not recommend using Mermaid for anything.

Very enjoyable day and good value for money. Loved the Blue Lagoon as we got there before the crowds. Enjoyable couple of hours in Gozo. Had a look in the caves on the way back and also a short stop on St Pauls Island.

The sights on the trip were all beautiful, although it was very busy when we attended at both the locations and on the boat. It was a little hard to see attractions pointed out by the captain whilst on the boat at times due to some groups taking constant selfies, but this was no fault of the crew. The crew did a great job and are very efficient at running on time. We did see multiple people (two almost on our own boat but the captain waited to allow them to reach the boat) get left behind due to being late so he concious and respectful of the times given to leave.

From the booking with Sam and Daniel to the actual trip everything was perfect ! Not mishaps not buts .. really well organised , and very good crew. We wanted to avoid this massive cruises with hundreds of people , here is just a small one with max 40 people . Boat goes inside the caves , and offers you a really good sightseeing point . We opted to go also to the Gozo tour . Really well organised. We finished at Saint Paul island which is the only cruise that it is allowed to go there. Thanks Mermaid Crew, it was really good.

Absolutely amazing. Really good cruise. Captain and his staff were really friendly. Would advise to use this company. He's a small company who can spend time with all onboard. Unlike the larger ships.

The clean waters of the blue lagoon are amazing. The tourist boat drop off area is overcrowded but a short walk to the beach or another lagoon are worth the effort.

Fantastic day out with mermaid cruises, saw some beautiful scenery and swam In crystal clear waters. Boat crew were friendly and carried refreshments on board. Only negative would be maybe a bit more time on Gozo. Many thanks for a fantastic day

In our view, there as absolutely no appeal in being packed like sardines into a 200-seater vessel with a permanent running commentary. For this reason, we chose Mermaid Cruises for our tour to Gozo from St Paul's Bay. They provided a smaller boat, fewer customers, and more interesting stops. The first stop at the Blue Lagoon allowed us all to swim. The clarity and temperature of the water rivalled the Maldives, and, besides for the fact that the lagoon was extremely busy and oversubscribed, there is no beach to talk of, we did have an enjoyable time. We were then taken to Gozo where we had the option of taking a shuttle bus to Victoria, the capital of Gozo. The shuttle was waiting at the dock, and the trip took 15 minutes to get to Victoria which is in the middle of the island. To find public transport to do the same trip would have wasted too much time and for €5 each, it was well worth it. Victoria is an interesting but remarkably busy place. However, the trip to and from the dock gave us a good idea of Gozo itself. From Gozo, the Mermaid took us to see some exceptionally large sea caves. The captain managed to sail the mermaid into the caves which was quite an experience. A stop at St Paul’s Island was interesting. St Paul was apparently shipwrecked on this island in 60AD when he was on his way to Rome. We were able to climb to the base of the huge statue of St Paul on the island and take photographs. And from there, back to St Paul’s Bay. A thoroughly enjoyable 7-hour trip and highly recommended. The cost was in line with other tour operators at about €45 each. A rudimentary bar was available on board. A rudimentary bar was available on board. The cost was in line with other tour operators at about €45 each.
