Day 1visit St. Mark's church &visit the church of the martyrs of Peter and Paul & St. George Monastery & the monastery of St. Badaba & St .Mina monastery and Saint Blamon anchorite Monastery Start your trip by pick up from your hotel in Qena in a private car to visit Qena monasteries and churches . Firstly we will visit St. Mark’s Church in Qena (Qena Coptic Orthodox Diocese) An Orthodox Christian church in Qena containing the shrine of the Holy Fathers, St. Makarios, St. Agapeus and St.Kirolos There is the shrine of St. Macarius .St.Ava Makarius is considered a righteous contemporary and was a gentle bishop .His deathwas strange during the prayer of the Divine Liturgy and was buried in the bishop’s cemetery in the Qena diocese, And then you will visit the church of the martyrs of Peter and Paul in Qena whish is known as (Elpotrosia) Then you will visit St. George Monastery at Mahrousa The rest of the buildings of the monastery is the old church and a few adjacent rooms covered with domes. The church dates back to the 18th and 19th century. The diocese in Qena took care of the monastery to help it establish a crisis center and made it a spiritual center for conferences, seminars, trips, retreats and paved the way to reach the monastery and provide all necessary amenities. The monastery also gained wide fame in the area and was considered a spiritual outlet for Nagi Hammadi residents. Then you will visit St .Mina monastery (Marymina the wonder ) in Nagi Hammadi The monastery is located at a distance of 2 km village (Ho), which is 6 km from Nag Hammadi and reached by asphalt road and the monastery is among the plantings and the rest of the monastery is a church dating back to the 18th and 19th century in its current style The church has five structures and an old entrance from the sea front in front of a bath Finally we will visit Saint Blamon anchorite Monastery There is an archaeological church, a small church of St. Demiana of one structure and a small side room and less than a meter and a half below the surface of the neighboring land. The monastery has a number of churches (four churches) and the saint of this monastery is St. Blamon anchorite and is the spiritual father of St. Pachomius father of communion , and until recently people were narrating and imitating the manifestations of St. Blamon and miracles and masterpieces made by the intercession and spread of the incense and pigeons that surround the permanent monastery .
