We begin the tour by heading north to Tomar through the Ribatejo farmland. In Tomar, we visit the Convent of Christ, originally built by the Knights Templar, and explore its Templar castle, the Romanesque round, the Manueline church, the Renaissance convent and the monastic precincts (ticket included). We continue to have lunch in the beautiful city of Tomar, with the beautiful river Nabão crossing the city.
