In spring when there are no swimmers we will visit the fishing village of Marina della Lobra. The etymology of Lobra derives from "Delubrum", temple, with reference to the ancient cathedral located on the beach.
Here we will have the opportunity to cross the entire small block of land still mostly inhabited today by fishermen, and to savor the essences and colors that these small villages offer to their visitors.
During the period of Barbary incursions, control of the entire village was entrusted to the watchtower called Corva, named after the tip which, to the west, delimits the Lobra inlet. The latter, called Capo Corbo, hosts, among other things, the church of San Liberatore.
In summer we will admire the village of Santa Maria della Lobra from the top of the enchanting Via del Nastro D'oro which we will walk along in its entirety admiring its beauty.
