Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is one of the most iconic and largest pyramids in Egypt, located on the Giza Plateau near Cairo. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom around 2580–2560 BC, it was originally constructed as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu and is part of the larger complex that includes two other pyramids and the Sphinx.
