Amazing experience. I had a different group tour booked through a different company, but it was canceled at the last minute. I only had one day available to see the castles and Brașov, so I googled tour operators in Bucharest hoping to find an alternative. Nicolas answered my call, canceled his plans for the day, and agreed to do a private tour. He picked me up from my hotel in under 30 minutes and after talking for a few minutes, he created a personalized itinerary for the day. I got to go everywhere I wanted, plus additional stops Nicolas suggested along the way. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and took great pictures for me (very much appreciated because I was traveling alone!) He skipped us through any lines, explained the history of all the sites, and we made great time. For lunch he recommended an excellent restaurant and I was able to try traditional Romanian dishes. I am so glad my original tour was canceled so I could spend the day with Nicolas! I recommend him 100%.

This tour was one of the best I have ever experienced. I was met promptly at the appointed time to begin my private tour by my guide Lonela. She was both very engaging and absolutely knowledgeable about the history as well as the architecture of both castles as well as the cities and towns we either drove though or stopped to visit. Her efficiency in knowing the landscape in addition to the nuances of each site was essential in providing a most memorable experience for me. Anyone having the experience of having Lonela as your guide is sure to provide you the memory of a lifetime as it did for me.

Our guide Dan Mica was excellent. He has encyclopedic knowledge of all things Transylvania and explained the history and the cultural details of the landmarks. He is also a very good and safe driver. He catered the experience to our needs.

There are many tours with similar itineraries, but if you want to avoid a giant bus and being ushered and hurried, this is the way to go. Nicu is an incredible, knowledgeable guide. My sister and I spent the day learning about Romanian culture and absorbing the beautiful scenery of Transylvania.

Awesome tour. We visited Peles Castle, had lunch and toured Brasov then went to Bran Castle. Nicolas was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The local restaurant they suggested in Brasov was fantastic. I would recommend this tour.

This tour was fantastic! Nicolas was extremely helpful when booking our tour. Dan was our tour guide. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our apartment. Dan was accomdating at all moments during travel and the tour. We asked to stop at a flea market on the way, and it was no problem for Dan. One of the best parts of the tour was the amount of history Dan was knowledgeable about. We both learned quite a lot about Romania and the sites we were visiting. Any question we asked, Dan seemed to know! Dan recommended the best coffee shops and restaurants for us to try. We are very impressed with the pace, time, and service provided. We would 100% recommend this tour company!
