We had an incredible day at the salt mine, delicious winery, and monastery with Vlad's tomb. But by far what we were most thrilled about was getting to know Radu. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture, and shared his personal story. Going on the excursion with him really made it worthwhile.

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Sebastian. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and discussed a wide range of topics about the sites, life in Romania, and Romanian history. Each site had its own unique aspects to experience. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would strongly recommend it.

Amazing experience. Firstly we got to visit the tomb where the remains of Vlad Tepes are allegedly buried. Our tour guide, Mircea, was quite knowledgeable and very friendly. Drove safely throughout our journey and made sure we were having a good time. After the monastery and the nice views from the lake, he took us to the Salt Mine, where he explained why the gigantic structure was shaped like a trapezoid and accompanied us everywhere there. Finally we stopped at a winery for late lunch and the food was amazing at a reasonable price. We visited in December and temperatures were around 2-3º so make sure you bring thick jackets. Also some cash is helpful.

What a fantastic trip from start to finish. The day before, our tour guide Mircea, confirmed pick up details and arrived on the morning of the trip promptly as arranged. Mircea was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive throughout the tour, even arranging a sommelier for a fantastic wine tasting experience at case seciu winery. Mircea provided a personalised service that truly made this a trip to remember. We would highly recommend this private tour, particularly with Mircea as your tour guide!

The Salt mine was the highlight of our trip to Romania. We enjoyed our lunch at the Vineyard and the last stop at the Monastery was beautiful and interesting. Our guide Mircea was so knowledgeable in many areas and gave great recommendations for other things to see and do in the area! Hands down one our favorite tours.

Our guide Catalin was amazing. He was knowledgeable and personable, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. He seemed to have a wide range of knowledge, and was full of interesting tidbits about all we saw. He gave us a good understanding, I suspect, of the Romanian soul. The salt mine itself was astonishing. Lunch at the winery was wonderful, and the isle where Vlad the Impaler is thought to be buried was lovely. I highly recommend this tour.

The salt mines were nice, but we had an accident on the road, so we didn't see the entire tour. But the organisation and the tour were super helpful to find a solution and to refund us a part back of our funds. The guide was super nice and helpful. We didn't go into the planetarium do.
