My husband and I visited Niagara Falls Canada for a short trip. We chose this holiday inn based on the suggestion of a friend. We arrived at the hotel just at dark. As we were driving to the area, I received a phone call from the hotel. The gentleman on the phone was calling to check on us, to make sure we were still coming. He was very kind and polite. I let him know we were on our way and he told me to drive safely. The hotel is very convenient in its location. This is an older property, but you can tell effort is made to keep it up. The rooms are large and I liked that the flooring was vinyl tile, making it feel clean. Housekeeping made up the room every morning. You don’t find that in many places anymore. The people working were very polite and helpful. The free parking lot had plenty of room for everyone. The walk down the hill to the falls and the hornblower boat tour was easy. The walk back up the hill was a bit more difficult, but that is the nature of the topography. We spent some time in the casino right across the street. Many restaurants are within walking distance. If you are in the area to see the falls, this holiday inn is a good option to choose.

The only reason they received one star is because the bed was comfortable for a IHG . This location is just a notch above the IHG location in Niagara falls Canada which is not a compliment as that location is comparable too a Crack den /heroin palace. the photo of the balcony is a so called vally view or view of the parking lot save your money and stay elsewhere
