I give it 2 stars for the service. The rooms are in need of a lot of maintenance, there are no plugs to charge our devices, the mattresses have springs, the pillows are super high, and there were no options for other options. The room had no soundproofing whatsoever, you could hear the ventilation system all night long. There was no air conditioning. I won't even mention the bathroom, from the poor positioning of the toilets to the lack of hot water. And for breakfast, since we were on Madeira Island, I expected much better quality fruit, the typical bolo do caco was not there. You had bread, cheese, ham, butter. 2 or 3 types of cake. And little else. With a wonderful view but with so little to offer

The hotel looks very good, the rooms are big, the furniture is not new, but not old either. It is very clean, excellently positioned by the sea, with access to all points on the island. Varied breakfast and extremely attentive and kind staff. It looks better in reality than in the pictures. Excellent price-quality ratio.

I stayed at this hotel recently and, overall, I had a positive experience. The rooms, although old, were very clean, which shows that they have taken good care of their maintenance and hygiene. The staff is simply fantastic! The girls at reception are incredibly friendly, always helpful and ready to help. The hotel has an excellent location, which is a big plus, especially for those who want to explore the island. In terms of price/quality, I consider it to be within the normal range. For the price you pay, you can't expect a 5-star hotel, but I believe that, over time, they will gradually make improvements to modernize the facilities. Overall, a good option for those looking for comfortable accommodation, with impeccable service and a good location.
