Booking something exciting as well as interesting for your stag party isn't easy, and if you are looking for some healthy sports to play, here's a quick guide:

1. Football

Football (or soccer to our US friends) is one of the most popular sports for stag parties. Most people can play it, some people are good at it, and you don’t need much to get started!

All you need is a space, a ball, some goals, and players; and there aren’t even special clothes you need to wear.

Indoor or outside, on the beach or in the park, eleven a side, five a side, six a side, or perhaps the new forms such as google football or electric shock football – so many great options for your stag party.

2. Cricket

A sport mainly played in the old British commonwealth countries but is becoming more popular around the world as new forms appear.

Very simple to play - if you don’t play to the exact rules of “leg before wicket” and don’t worry about googlies or wide mid on (google it!) and everyone can get involved.

Lovely to play in a field or park; and can be adapted to be played on the beach.
3. Handball

Handball is a very popular sport in many parts of Europe including Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Spain.

A sport quite like football in terms of the equipment required and has a very similar pace to the game.

Could be a good option if many participants in your group haven’t played before, meaning creating equal teams is easier.
4. Bubble football

Love football? Love rolling around in a bubble?

Then why not combine the two! Bubble football (or zorb football, or bumper ball as it maybe called where you are) is a fantastic experience for a sporty stag party activity.

Your group will remember the day when they were placed in inflatable bubbles and asked to play football!

5. Winter sports

If you are planning a winter wedding there maybe a large of sporting activities take you can’t play because of the weather (either snow, rain, or lack of sunshine), but fear not you could be able to play some winter sports.

Skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, snow sledging, tobogganing, snowboarding, ice hockey, and curling are all sports that you can play in the winter months (weather depending) and make your stag party ice cool.

6. Archery

Many in your stag group party may want to recreate the scenes of Robin Hood, or Hunger Games in a session of archery.

You can select a classic lesson where the aim is to see who the best is at hitting the target, or target archery where the participants are the targets!

A very mobile activity which can be held at am archery centre or delivered to your venue (after a safety check), where your stag group can play in private.

7. Kayaking

There are so many benefits to kayaking or canoeing, not only is it great for fitness, but also you get up and close to nature as you and your stag group go on an aquatic journey.

Kayaking and canoeing can be booked in many lakes, streams, rivers, and canals, as well as sea kayaking.

Great for groups as both watersports can be enjoyed by beginners, and after a quick demonstration you should be able to go off in your group.

8. Shooting

You can book many shooting activities designed for stag parties, from traditional clay pigeon shooting, paintball, shooting ranges, and virtual shooting galleries.

Either competing as individuals or in team your stag party will enjoy the competitive element of a shooting activity, before heading to the bars for a few drinks.

9. Fishing

If you are a looking for a sporty activity which doesn’t involve too much energy, fishing could be the perfect option.

Either simple fishing by a lake, river, canal or stream, sea fishing, fishing off the beach or harbour, or even ice fishing; there are many options to consider.

Relaxing, fun, and it doesn’t matter if you catch nothing if you just hang out with your friends.
10. Baseball

A sport loved by North Americans, Cubans, Japanese, and Koreans, but is growing in many parts of the world, and major cities such as London have their own leagues set up.

Similar to cricket in terms of the equipment (but no wicket or stumps required), and you can even play with a tennis ball if in a public place and worried about a hard ball.

You can play in a custom built diamond or make up your own space in the park or beach.
